I am currently recruiting for a leading Syndicate who are seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join their Cyber team on an initial 6M FTC.

This position will assist the team in maintaining efficient underwriting operations processes and providing customer service to clients and internal stakeholders. You will be quality checking insurance documents and other operational documents too. Full training will be provided for this role and you must be fluent in German, Spanish & Italian.

Day Rate: up to €180 per day (inside IR35)

Office: Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 from home)

Key Responsibilities

• Review and audit policy documents prepared by UAs, ensuring all information aligns with PAS, slips, and underwriter instructions, and that font and formatting meet established standards.
• Provide clear, concise feedback on quality findings to UAs, Operational Team Leads, and Operations Managers, ensuring all issues are addressed within 24 hours of communication.
• Track and review broker feedback related to policy errors, omissions, or additions by monitoring the Policy mailbox and updating relevant trackers accordingly.
• Monitor and log underwriter feedback following quality reviews, specifically regarding policy issuance issues.
• Attend underwriting training sessions and meetings as required to stay up to date with current practices.
• Generate and maintain reports detailing quality performance and analytics.
• Contribute to upholding team standards by supporting fellow quality-focused underwriting assistants in meeting their service and quality targets.
• Provide support to underwriters and team leaders as needed.
• Participate in ad-hoc project work as assigned.
