I am currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Bordereaux Manager to join their growing delegated function.
This role will be working closely with the COO & DA Manager, taking the full lead on any bordereaux matters within the Syndicate. You will be the primary contact for all BDX matters internally and externally by overseeing the end to end Bordereaux process including managing, analysing and reporting bordereaux data. Strong experience within managing bordereaux is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the reporting of delegated authority business is accurately captured and submitted in line with established company protocols.
- Take initiative in identifying data quality issues, ensuring compliance with both company and Lloyd's standards.
- Analyse, interpret, and critically evaluate any processing reports and statistics provided by the third-party outsourcer.
- Generate, oversee, and complete bordereaux processing oversight and management information reports.
- Identify and implement process enhancements aimed at increasing efficiency and accuracy, reinforcing current bordereaux data quality procedures, and introducing additional controls and exception reporting to maintain quality standards.
- Directly communicate with managing agents, third-party outsourcing partners, underwriters, brokers, coverholders, and capacity providers as needed, ensuring clear and effective communication with all involved parties.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, fostering strong collaborations both internally with underwriting teams, delegated authority, claims, finance, credit control, actuarial, risk, and compliance functions, and externally with our managing agency, brokers, the Lloyd's delegated authority team, capacity providers, and third-party coverholders.
- Participate in regular catch-up meetings with the outsourced bordereau processing teams and other relevant teams as required.
- Carry out any ad-hoc tasks related to operations and data oversight.
- Fulfil any other reasonable duties requested by your manager.
