HFG are currently recruiting on behalf of a top Lloyd's MGA who are seeking a Reinsurance Claims Adjuster to join their growing team, specialising in US Property and Casualty.

Key responsibilities

* Manage individual caseload by examining crucial data and factual reports, establishing appropriate reserves, facilitating negotiations with Cedants, and confidently making independent decisions

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date claims information in accordance with best practices

* Prepare concise written and verbal reports for senior management

* Foster positive relationships with Cedants, Brokers, Co-Reinsurers, and Legal Representatives to effectively handle and analyze reinsurance claim exposures

* Ensure adherence to policy obligations and fair treatment of Customers

* Comply with all regulatory requirements, maintain confidentiality, and uphold company policies

* Achieve set objectives and contribute to team efforts and projects as needed

* Provide risk insight, information, and identify emerging trends to drive profitable growth

* Assist in conducting audits on Cedants and other relevant parties, including due diligence assessments

* Collaborate with actuarial, finance, and operations teams as necessary

* Stay informed about any pertinent Legal, Regulatory, or Medical developments

* Report important developments, issues, and trends to the Head of Claims as needed
