A leading London market insurance business are looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to join their finance department to partner the business to enhance decision making with a focus on strategy, planning, analysis and reporting.

The main responsibilities of this Financial Planning Analyst role will include:

• To provide insightful performance analysis on the legal entities
• Proactively support and work with the wider Planning team and Business partnering community in order to achieve Plan deliverables.
• To provide insightful performance analysis on the legal entities to the Legal Entity Management Committees enabling effective performance planning and management
• To identify and suggest improvements to the Plan process
• Assist in the preparation of financial Plan exhibits for communications to senior management
• Development and monitoring of Plan and Forecast timetables which the organisation will operate to
• Create a set of key core outputs to support the Pillars and Entities in presenting onwards

The successful candidate for this FP&A Analyst will need experience in working in an accounting function, ideally with planning and analysis experience, in the insurance industry, ideally the Lloyd's market. The candidate must also be working towards or completed an accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and be a confident communicator.
