HFG are currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Insurer who are seeking a Insurance Litigator to join their growing team.

My client is looking for a qualified Solicitor or Barrister to join their legal team and help with both pre-action and litigated claims to a conclusion, demonstrating an effective use of your legal and commercial skills. Experience with professional negligence is required and experience handling PI and Financial Case risks are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve pre-action and litigated claims efficiently using legal and commercial skills.
• Analyze cases and suggest strategies for alternative dispute resolution.
• Oversee tasks assigned to team members.
• Maintain relationships with Claims Professionals, Brokers, and Insureds.
• Manage a moderate caseload of moderately complex claims independently.
• Receive guidance from the Head of Legal Practice on complex and high exposure claims.
• Collaborate with the Head of Legal Practice to establish goals for the practice and contribute to its expansion planning.
