Internal Audit - Data Analytics

Are you an Internal auditor with a passion for Data Analytics, or a Data Analytics expert with experience of supporting Audit functions?

They are currently looking to hire a Data analytics expert or internal auditor as mentioned above, ideally with insurance or wider financial services sector exposure to join the London office covering the UK and European operations.

Role Purpose:

To support the audit team in the delivery of internal audit services to the Company's European offices. In particular the role includes the responsibility for developing and maintaining the Internal Audit department's analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities (Not limited to)

• Identify, obtain access to, and manage/maintain databases and other datasets for use in internal audit data analytics work.
• Make use of data analytics tools to produce exhibits, reports and visuals as required.
• Maintain an appropriate change control process and documentation for work performed.
• Communicate methods and outputs in a non-technical manner to auditors and other stakeholders.
• From analysis of data, provide insights to the internal audit team on issues and trends that may be of relevance.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in the use of data by the internal audit team and the wider business.
• Escalate any control issues, as these arise, to the Head of Internal Audit and management.
• Work with members of the global internal audit team to achieve objectives defined in projects
