A leading Insurer is looking to hire a contract SQL consultant to develop and maintain SQL Server, SSIS, and SQL Reporting Services in accordance with business requirements and enterprise standards. You will follow SDLC standards, source-code management (familiarity with GitHub) and release management procedures. Conduct unit testing and integration testing in line with agreed deployment protocols.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
* Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with technical SMEs (previous work with Actuaries preferred)
* Strong SQL Server, SSIS, and SQL Reporting skills
* Database design experience
* Kimball Methodology Star Schema experience
* Data Vault modelling nice to have
* Experience of building a data mart / data warehouse rather than just maintenance (nice to have)
* Experience working in Agile teams
* Previous experience on developing Actuarial processes preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong facilitation and presentation skills
* Strong organisation and planning skills
