Salary: £90,000 - £95,000
I'm currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Insurer who are looking to add an Internal Audit Manager to their team.
They are looking for someone with experience from one of the big fours with a background in Auditing and preferably has a Lloyd's background.
Lloyds of London business, one of the leading insurance companies in the world, is looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join their team in London.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement internal audit plans and strategies, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Lead and manage the internal audit team, providing guidance and support to team members
- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement within the business
- Prepare audit reports and make recommendations to senior management
- Ensure that internal audit activities are carried out in accordance with industry standards and best practices
- Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders such as external auditors, regulators and business leaders
- Work collaboratively with other internal functions to identify and mitigate risks across the business
Knowledge & Skills:
- Good overall educational standard with relevant qualification including one or more of the following: ACA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Degree or equivalent
- A good knowledge of the Lloyd's market.
- A good understanding and appreciation of the risks inherent in general insurance group.
- A high level of understanding of the controls expected to be in place in general insurance group.
