An SME London Market Insurer are looking to hire an experienced FP&A professional with advanced system skills to help them through a period of change and progression. This is a 6 month FTC, reporting to the Head of FP&A and will play a key role in the preparation of monthly management packs as well as enhancement of existing processes. Key responsibilities of this role will be:

• Prepare monthly management accounts including premium, claims and reinsurance data to provide accurate and timely management information to senior management.
• Support the Head of FP&A in preparation of quarterly finance packs for the Board and variance analysis to provide insights into business performance and trends.
• Review and enhance complex financial models to support the production of monthly MI and business planning.
• Participate in automation and transformation projects to enhance financial processes, improve accuracy, and reduce manual intervention.
• Ad hoc project assistance working alongside the Head of FP&A and the rest of the finance team. For example, systems integration and implementation of new finance tools.

A solid foundation in insurance accounting gained in a non-life insurance business and be adept in financial data engineering, analysis and controls is required. You will also need advanced proficiency in financial modelling and MS Excel / MS Power tools (e.g. Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot), including building complex spreadsheets and financial models is essential.
