HFG are currently working with a leading London insurer searching for a skilled Technical Accountant with (re)insurance experience to join their Finance team. This role focuses on maintaining underwriting-related financial accounts and assisting with financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage inwards reinsurance contracts, special feature contracts, and reinstatement premium spreadsheets
• Produce and distribute monthly MI and Claims packs
• Perform SOX controls and reconciliation for the London Branch
• Provide ad hoc assistance to the Financial Controller as needed

Profile:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent)
• In-depth knowledge of the insurance / reinsurance industry
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (VLookups, Sumifs, Pivot Tables)
