I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Lloyd's Syndicate, who are looking to add an experienced Outwards Reinsurance Technician to their Operations team.

This will be working alongside a reputable Reinsurance Manager, who is effectively looking for a number 2 in the team. This position will entail a variety of duties, such as pre and post placement of RI contracts, handling of RI slips, calculations of premiums and recoveries, as well as working with the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

• To help with the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing by calculating all Reinsurance Recoveries and Premiums owed.
• To support the day-to-day administration and efficient management of reinsurance processes.
• To input Reinsurance Policy data into systems.
• To contribute to the creation of Reinsurance Renewal Information.
• To manage and administer all "non-traditional" reinsurance, including Collateralized arrangements.
• Review and authorize daily LORS messages, while cross-referencing with the Syndicate Collection Tracker/EOCs.
• To assist in preparing Reinsurance Programme Summaries and Schematics of purchased reinsurance.
• To assist in completing regulatory returns, such as Lloyd's SRS/QMA.
• Prepare reinsurance information for Reinsurance and Broker Security Committee meetings.
