Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

A well-regarded Lloyd’s insurance company is looking to hire an additional talented accountant following an increase in the size and complexity of their business. In this role you will ensure financial reporting to Lloyd’s is delivered on time and desired quality level, in an effective control environment. In addition, you will support team members with technical issues and/or IFRS group deliveries as well as actively contribute to the wider finance transformation program. You will be taking the lead in ensuring the production, quality assurance and delivery of required Lloyd’s returns (UK GAAP and SII Basis) for a newly setup Syndicate. This will include audit file preparation as well as improving and automating existing processes and then integrate them efficiently with the current Syndicate reporting process.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong technical background, ideally Big 4 trained, with in depth knowledge of Lloyd’s accounting/reporting and professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA. You will also have experience in end-to-end finance processes, such as Finance operations, Planning, Forecasting, Financial close, intercompany process and Reporting
