HFG are currently recruiting on behalf of a top Lloyd's Syndicate who are looking to add a Claims Adjuster to their EMEA team. This role would specialise in international and US property binders so someone with strong delegated authority experience is key.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert claims adjustment services to claims team, specialising in International and USA property binders. This includes following Best Practices and Claims Handling procedures and protocols.
• Generate reports on operational performance and promote a culture of continuous improvement to support the EMEA Programme claims strategy of establishing a Centre of Excellence in claims.
• Play an active role in advising underwriters and actuaries, offering insights and support for the development of the book of business.
• Collaborate with underwriting to build and maintain client relationships, taking responsibility for key accounts.
• Represent the company and the claims department in internal and external settings, including participation in review meetings with brokers and/or policy holders.
• Effectively manage a portfolio of claims by accurately reserving and focusing on achieving target outcomes that prioritise the customer. Adhere to ethical and service standards, while fulfilling compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Assist the Head of Single Risk Claims, as needed, within the matrix reporting arrangements.
• Participate in relevant market events or initiatives on behalf of the company.
