Head of Reporting

A rapidly expanding Lloyd’s Managing Agent is looking for a Head of Reporting to manage a team of five; overseeing all corporate reporting produced by London entities and to be key part of delivering the results to the US parent. In this role you will:

  • Prepare an explanation of the Quarterly Group Consolidation and Segment result
  • Prepare/review and sign off of all consolidated eliminations/segment adjustments
  • Prepare/review quarterly Group reporting pack
  • Sign off of the accuracy of Oracle ledgers for all group companies & corporate members
  • To review quarterly trade capital providers quarterly reporting
  • Review of statutory accounts for Group Companies/Corporate members (including IFRS Consolidated Accounts)
  • Assist in review of all syndicate regulatory reporting
  • Development of financial systems and reporting
  • Play key role in ensuring Sarbanes Oxley compliance

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a number of years post qualified experience in the insurance market (preferably within Lloyd’s). You will also need detailed understanding of UK GAAP (US GAAP is also desirable) and will have strong general ledger experience.
