Delegated Underwriting Audit Analyst

To work within and support the Delegated Underwriting team to provide oversight that the business is compliant with internal procedures and regulatory requirements regarding conduct risk, and coverholder audit. 

Main Responsibilities:

 Undertake and help manage the scheduling, scoping, selection and recommendation outcomes of lead coverholder audits.   Review audit reports  Manage response to and from underwriters, brokers and coverholders in respect of audits   Manage payment of audit fees via Xchanging  Liaise with Lloyd’s Central Audit Function with respect to coordinated audits via the Lloyd’s central audit platform.  Undertake reviews of conduct risk within the business including binders, master policies.   Review of consortia and line slips in line with the Delegated Underwriting policy.   Assist and maintain oversight of the Agency conduct assessment register for DA business.   Assist to ensure that conduct minimum standards are maintained.   Assist in maintaining, update and circulate where required any relevant Delegated Authority information from Lloyd’s, FCA, LMA or other local regulatory body  Allocation of audits within the Delegated Underwriting team and wider department where required, ensuring SLA’s are met.   Review and analyse audit, conduct risk, financial crime, DUM data and provide commentary under the oversight of the Head of Delegated Underwriting Management.   Analyse and provide commentary for CHMC and COG reporting packs.  Support the Head of Delegated Underwriting Management in maintaining relationships   Assist in the management and maintenance of the TOBA process for brokers  Deputise as applicable for the Head of Delegated Underwriting Management with particular focus on conduct risk, financial crime and coverholder audit. 

Skills and Experience:  Experience of delegated authority practices, preferably at Lloyd’s  Relevant business experience  In-depth knowledge of the operations and practices of delegated authority underwriting  Numerate and IT literate (preferably experience in BDX, ATLAS and BAR).  Good presentational skills
