A reinsurance business are looking for a high calibre Senior Credit Control Manager to join the Operation finance team that is undergoing significant change and improvement.

Key Accountabilities:

• Management of the Credit Control Team and the collection of reinsurance and premium assets
• Monitor unpaid reinsurance and premium balances and report timely and accurately
• Manage and report on cash allocation, and keep to a minimum any unallocated cash
• Manage all payment requests in accordance with payment procedures and processes
• Attend monthly conference calls with US to discuss their collections, issues & queries and creating and distribute schedules beforehand to all parties
• Manage a team of credit controllers, and where necessary mentor and promote training and development
• Monitor staff performance and ability to fulfil allocated roles through the role profile and appraisal process

To succeed in this role you must have previous experience in managing a Credit Control team, ideally at a reinsurance business. The candidate must also have a strong understanding of insurance premiums and slips as well as having detailed Xchanging knowledge.
