Compliance Officer – Conduct (Insurance)

In a tough insurance market, our client has just romped its Q2 earnings and smashed analyst forecasts. In a tough market full of consolidation and mixed results, our client is still growing exponentially, particularly overseas and delivering market leading results. 

The business is expanding their compliance team. W are looking to help them find an experienced and credible Conduct Risk professional. This role will be integral to the team and business due to the nature of the business and the large retail insurance book it has. Experience with retail/personal lines insurance would be great.

The team is respected in the Lloyd’s market, experienced and will offer the individual progression opportunities either within this role or elsewhere in the business.

Things move quite fast in this company therefore we are looking for individuals that are go-getters, proactive, show initiative and have a knack for problem solving.

Stakeholder management experience will be essential. This company is one of the older, more established Lloyd’s businesses and in some ways, quite “old-school”. Therefore, there will be plenty of times when you will need to educate, train, push back and compromise on certain things. Judging how to do this properly, keeping you, the business and the regulator happy…. that will be key.

There is a great deal of work to get on with and the business is looking for someone to come in with fresh ideas and to change things up a bit.
