This business which was founded in May 2018 by two partners, provides clients with efficient, professional compliance services, alongside strategic advisory services. Following a successful launch and a sustained period of growth, the business is looking for an Account Manager to join their team.
The role will involve working closely with the Directors to deliver an excellent client experience. These Directors currently act as FD and NED to a suite of SME clients and are looking for someone to take on the compliance aspect of client service so they can focus on delivering the value expected of the various Board positions.
The successful candidate will be responsible to delivering the core “compliance” services including: statutory accounts, corporation tax, VAT returns, payroll and management accounts. The manager will be supported by a bookkeeper and payroll administrator (already in position).
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) who has built a career in general practice and is competent at delivering the following with minimal Director input:
- FRS102 statutory accounts
- Corporation tax returns
- VAT returns
- Payroll and auto-enrolment
- Management accounts.
The businesses compliance service is typically built with Xero at its core. It would be advantageous if the candidate was experienced in the use of Xero as well as the mainstream add-ons.
The firm, although still in its first year of trading, has grown very fast and will continue to do so. This is an opportunity for an ambitious candidate to “own” the compliance side of what they do with a view to building a team of bookkeepers and accountants over the next few years.
